I love teaching piano! I have been teaching private piano lessons for over 35 years and enjoy teaching a variety of styles of music. During lessons, I incorporate theory, technique, sight-reading, ear-training and also include music games and fun activities.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Cincinnati Christian University where I studied piano and organ and have played piano for church worship services for over 35 years.
I have worked at the Baldwin Music Education Center where I taught pre-school, elementary, middle school and adults in a group setting. I have also accompanied two different age groups of the Cincinnati Youth Choir located at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have been able to accompany numerous adult and children’s choirs, musicals, ensembles and soloists.
I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 29 years. We have a son who lives with his wife in Columbus and a daughter who lives with her husband and twin daughters here in Cincinnati.
